Spookathon is back and is hosted by the always amazing Kayla at BooksandLala. This readathon takes place from October 14th-20th. I’m already pretty behind on my October TBR, but I can’t help myself when it comes to readathons. Even if I don’t end up participating, I still love to make TBRs. As my eyes are getting worse and worse I’m reading more and more on my kindle or phone and all of my October TBR are physical books so my plan is to choose only books I own on kindle to fulfill the 5 challenges of Spookathon.
Challenge One : Read a Thriller
The Missing Years by Lexie Elliott
Challenge Two : Read a Book with Red on the Cover
Amerita by Martin Medina and Luke Medina
Challenge Three : Read a Book with a Spooky Word in the Title
I can not currently think of many more frightening words than needle. The Needle: An Alien Invasion by Ken Bebelle
Challenge Four : Read a Book with a Spooky Setting
This whole thing looks creepy and I’m not a fan of snow or the woods. The Cabin by John Koloen.
Challenge Five : Read Something You Wouldn’t Normally Read
Hope in Paris! by Donnalyn Vojta
These should keep me up sufficiently late with nightmares and I am also in the middle of a book of Stephen King short stories on my kindle as well. Will you be participating?
