Weekly Reading Wrap Up- November 16

This was a really good reading week. I finished five books.

Itty Bits was an ebook. Ru was from the library. And the other three were all owned books. The Girls was unhauled after reading and Love That Dog and The Witch of Blackbird Pond were moved to Pepper’s collection for when she is bigger and may want to read them.

I am currently in the middle of 6 books, but only made progress in two of them this week.  The book I am most actively reading is Tangerine by Christine Mangan (page 230/308). I also began The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bauby (page 27/132).

I hope to finish both of those in the next week and plan to begin both Deaf Republic by Ilya Kaminsky and Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. I may also try to get back to Deep Work by Cal Newport, but I’ll just have to see where the week takes me.

I was also reading Pan’s Labyrinth: The Labyrinth of the Faun by Guillermo del Toro and Cornelia Funke, but it was overdue at the library and I wasn’t in the mood to try and rush to finish it. So I guess it’s a temporary DNF that may turn permanent if I don’t back to it at some point.

All in all a good reading week. What are you reading this week?

  1. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Where the Crawdads Sing. I’m hoping to finish The Outsider by Stephen King today and I also started Love, Look Away by Lisette Brodey. I’ve also been rereading the Harry Potter series and I will be starting the 3rd one soon.
