My Bookish Week 12/28/19

My reading plans went a bit off the rails this week with the holidays. I ended up behind and canceled two of the books I was hoping to read before the end of the year.  Or at least postponed them until 2020 begins.

This week I finished reading

The Mermaid’s Voice Returns in This One by Amanda Lovelace  ✰4✰

A Boy Called Christmas by Matt Haig ✰5✰

A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult ✰4✰

The Gentleman’s Guide to Getting Lucky by Mackenzi Lee ✰5✰

The Princess in Black and the Bathtime Battle by Shannon Hale ✰5✰

This week I continued reading

Sassafras by Trish Heald (17%)

Unchartered by Tracy Garvis Graves (page 35/124)

It’s Ok That You’re Not OK by Megan Devine (page 87/241)

This week I started reading

The Stainless Steel Rat’s Revenge by Harry Harrison (page 167/273)

This week I acquired

Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore

The Stainless Steel Rat for President by Harry Harrison

The Gentleman’s Guide to Getting Lucky by Mackenzi Lee

Autoboyography by Christina Lauren

Wilder Girls by Rory Power

Middlegame by Seanan McGuire

It’s Okay to Laugh by Nora McInerny

I Love My Love by Reyna Biddy

The Land of Yesterday by K A Reynolds

Towelhead by Alicia Erian

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Pink Mist by Owen Sheers

Knit Your Own Murder by Monica Ferris

I’m hoping to finish everything I’m in the middle of and then begin my first planned read of 2020, Middlegame by Seanan McGuire.
