My Top Reads of 2019

I feel like I give 5 star ratings pretty easily. I usually just read for enjoyment so I don’t read too critically. All an author has to do to make me give their book five stars is to make me care about the characters and to feel something very strongly by the end of the book. Out of 107 books I read this year, I gave 40 of them 5 stars. I also gave 45 books 4 stars, 19 books 3 stars, and 3 books got 2 stars. I didn’t give any 1 stars this year.

My top ten books of the year are below. But first I’ve listed the other 29 five star books I read this year. The order is pretty random, but this is the order Goodreads showed them to me when I searched by star rating.  Links to Goodreads pages for each book are included.
